Evaluate your options

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions on the Assess Liability page and determined that you are liable under the NEPM, you have two options with which you can take action:

1. Join APCO and become a Signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant.

2. Elect to meet your obligations under the NEPM and report on this directly to the state and territory governments within the jurisdiction in which your company sells or distributes its products.

If you answered ‘no’ to all of the questions on the Assess Liability page and determined that you might be exempt, click the relevant option below to take action:

1. Notify APCO that you answered ‘no’ to all questions on the Assess Liability page.

2. Notify APCO that you are exempt as you have a total annual turnover of less than AUD$5 million.

3. Notify APCO that you are exempt as your organisation has ceased trading or has been acquired.

4. Notify APCO that you are exempt as your organisation is already covered by an existing APCO Membership.
