Workshop: Managing packaging sustainability information using the NPC

Add to Calendar

You are invited to join the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) and GS1 Australia to workshop an opportunity to leverage the National Product Catalogue (NPC) to manage and share information on packaging sustainability achievements.

This year, APCO has worked closely with GS1 Australia to explore how the NPC can support our Members with their APCO Annual Reporting requirements. The NPC is a solution that helps organisations enter, validate, store, maintain and share details of their products and packaging. We have defined a set of variables that align with APCO’s Annual Reporting requirements and the 2025 National Packaging Targets. The addition of these variables could assist APCO Members who are using the NPC to manage information relevant to their APCO Annual Reporting requirements and packaging sustainability goals.

In this session, you will hear from GS1 Australia who will provide an overview of the NPC and the proposed set of data variables. We will also invite you to share your feedback and interest on this initiative.
