Join us as we launch our Recovered Polymer Specifications resource.Developed in partnership with NWRIC, the new resource establishes a set of 12 industry-agreed standard specifications for recycled materials, to ensure that recovered materials can meet specifications for manufacture back into packaging.
As the Australian supply chain works to meet the 2025 National Packaging Targets for recycled content, the new resource has been designed to provide clear and consistent quality standards throughout the value chain, from packaging design through to recovery.
Ideal for packaging manufacturers and the waste and recycling industry, the new specifications will assist companies involved in the sorting and processing of recovered plastic packaging, in order to maximise recovery and value and meet the needs of customers, whether in Australia or overseas.
One of the first resources to be launched under the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Islands Plastics Pact (ANZPAC), the new standards will provide an important tool for maximising plastics recovery, value and return on investment in the Oceania region.
Join APCO’s Helen Lewis and Meredith Epp, along with guest presenters for a discussion covering how the specifications were developed and how they will be used.
