Join a special APCO webinar this Wednesday 23 September at 3pm exploring Australia’s co-regulatory framework for packaging – the National Environment Protection (Used Packaging Materials) Measure, aka the NEPM, and the Australian Packaging Covenant.
On Friday 18 September, the Commonwealth and state and territory environment ministers agreed on a Circular Economy Roadmap that included a plan to harmonise and strengthen the co-regulatory framework of the NEPM and the Covenant, and to strengthen its enforcement.
With Australia’s packaging reform process now focused on strengthening the NEPM, this session provides anyone involved in packaging with the key facts about the co-regulatory framework and puts it into context for businesses, producers and other stakeholders operating across the packaging value chain.
