In March, the Australian Government released its inaugural National Plastics Plan – including the timetable of actions for Australian industry to phase out several single-use, unnecessary and problematic plastics (SUPs). Since then, both the NSW and WA State Governments have made further commitments aligned with the National Plastic Plan in the phase out of SUPs.
