We are delighted to officially invite you to join us for the 2021 APCO Collective Impact Summit, which will be held virtually on Thursday 18 November.
The inaugural Collective Impact Summit will showcase the new Collective Impact Analysis report, which will assess Australia’s current progress towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets and explore the opportunities and barriers on the pathway towards achieving a circular economy for packaging. This will be an opportunity to bring together, APCO Members, industry leaders, researchers, and government to discuss the current landscape of packaging sustainability and what still needs to be done as Australia works together to achieve the 2025 Targets.
It is critical to identify and acknowledge the actions that are required for Australia to scale up and accelerate progress towards the circular economy for packaging.
The summit will feature a series of breakout sessions focused on driving action towards addressing the system performance gaps identified in the Collective Impact Analysis Report across the three key outcome areas of Our Packaging Future, including:
Outcome 1: Packaging Designed for Circularity
Outcome 2: Improved Collection and Recycling Systems
Outcome 3: Expanded Markets for Used Packaging
Please note, this event will take place at 10:00am – 1:30pm AEDT.
Following the summit, please join us for this year’s annual APCO Awards ceremony to celebrate the organisations and individuals that are leading the way in sustainable packaging design and innovation. The awards also recognise the commitment and drive of Australian industry to deliver the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
We look forward to having you join us at this year’s events.
