Australasian Recycling Label named as Banksia Sustainability Award finalist

The APCO team is delighted to announce the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) Program has been named as a finalist in this year’s Banksia Sustainability Awards - Australia’s longest running and most prestigious sustainability awards.

The ARL Program, which APCO runs in partnership with Planet Ark, was shortlisted in the NGO/Not for Profit category, in recognition of its contribution towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (specifically SDG 12 and SDG 17). The ARL will have stiff competition to take home the final trophy, with fellow shortlisted organisations including Beyond Zero Emissions, OzHarvest and Conservation Volunteers Australia.

2021 has already been a huge year for the ARL Program, which was celebrated by the UN Environment Programme as a best practice example of labelling in a recent webinar and case study

The Banksia Awards will be announced on 24 March. For more information and to learn more about this year’s finalists visit: https://bit.ly/376OU5J
