Hive Awards Entries Now Open

Celebrating innovation and excellence in the Australian food and beverage manufacturing sector, The Hive Awards is the new program developed by Food & Drink Business to recognise all that makes Australian food and beverage manufacturing, including packaging.

APCO is supporting the Hive awards in a judging capacity, and we’re encouraging entries from APCO members who have made innovative changes to impact the sustainability of their packaging, or who have brought innovative packaging to market in 2023–2024.

“In developing the awards, we wanted the name to reflect the complexity, inter-connectedness, ambition, and tirelessness of Australia’s food and drink manufacturing sector. We couldn’t go past the concept of bees and their hive, a flawless system that runs 24/7, driven by a dedicated and determined workforce to consistently deliver a product to the highest standard. Categories include the best in Ingredients, Processing, Packaging, New Product Development, Business Excellence and more.

Entries are open until 12pm, Friday 23rd February 2024.

Finalists will be announced in late April, with winners announced at a The Hive Awards industry event on 16 May in Sydney.
